VFX-101 My Second assignment

hey guys, i know i havent posted in a while BUT!! i have been doing assignments over my holiday break (how tradgic) but yeah hopefully it will turn out alot better then my first assignment haha :S

so for this assignment two it is 1-3 minutes of animation, i have a hopefully a good idea which you guys will love haha

i will be using 2D either drawn or on photoshop or toonboom or something, making the characters and settings silhouttes in plain black with either a white or blue background.
im going to try simple animation for this story to hopefully work with mostly only sections of the characters moving and or backgrounds moving.

its not a "happy ending" story haha 

so i have a fairly simple character of a boy who sneaks away from his house to go to a circus show, little does he know that the circus is a creepy freaky circus run by a tall skinny clown type character who lets him backstage to see the puppets.
the clown character then makes the child into one of those puppets and the child tries to fight the strings but is unsuccessful and the clown character makes the boy part of the show... the boy gets pulled and pushed around faster and faster until at the climax of speed the clown cuts the ties from his hands and the boy plumets into darkness... the end...


so this is my first rough character design hope you like it
